RDA was very fortunate to have Mrs. Sally Francis visit us from 12-14 November to run 4 days of volunteer and instructor training at both of our RDA Centres. Sally comes from Australia and has worked very closely with RDA Australia. During the sessions, Sally taught our volunteers some different leading techniques which could be utilized in the lessons. Sally also showed the volunteers some simple stretches for the horses and ponies which could be done during the warm-up before lessons. During her visit, Sally spent 2 days at Pok Fu Lam and 2 days at Tuen Mun. All volunteers and instructors who were able to attend the sessions found them very informative and interactive. We very much look forward to Sally coming back again in the future.
