RDA COVID-19 Vigilance Measures (Update on 27 March)
RDA has been closely monitoring the evolving situation of COVID-19 in Hong Kong and noted the increase in local cases. RDA has suspended all our riding lessons until 20 April 2020. As it develops and referencing the government and health department communications, we are asking for your continued support for the Association to maintain the highest possible level of precautionary prevention measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. please see the updates as follows:
We would like to remind:
• All staff, instructors, volunteers, students and the accompanying person(s)/family members who are infected or have had contacted with any confirmed, preliminary positive case or suspected case of COVID-19 infection to immediately inform the Association. All MUST NOT visit the Association and enter our facilities;
• You must avoid visiting the Association and all facilities if you have recently travelled to any overseas countries or areas in the last 14 days, or if you have symptoms associated with COVID-19 infection (i.e. fever, malaise, dry cough, shortness of breath or any other flu-like symptoms). See the notice of Inbound Travel, https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/inbound-travel.html;
• Avoid visiting the Association and all facilities until you seek medical advice and then we request you to wear a face mask while in the Association and all facilities for 14 days if you
– Have traveled to the affected local areas (see the local buildings with confirmed cases, https://www.chp.gov.hk/files/pdf/building_list_eng.pdf), or
– Have traveled or have close contact with someone who have been out of Hong Kong in the past 14 days. As reported by the Centre of Health Department, currently the significant case countries are: All overseas countries/territories. See the Outbound Travel Alert, https://www.sb.gov.hk/eng/ota/ and the travel advice of the health notice, https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/travel-advice.html;
• All staff, instructors, volunteers, students and the accompanying person(s) should comply with our facilities’ entry procedure.
• At our facilities, all staff, instructors, volunteers, students and the accompanying person(s)/family members should be required to register and have passed temperature screening at the entrance gate so we can monitor visitation. Please cooperate with the security so we can keep all safe.
• All staff, instructors, volunteers, students and the accompanying person(s) are required to sign a Health and Travel History Declaration Form declaring that (1) they do not exhibit any COVID-19 related symptoms; (2) they have not been out of Hong Kong in the past 14 days; (3) they have not been in close contact with someone who have been out of Hong Kong in the past 14 days and (4) they have not been in contact with any confirmed, preliminary positive case or suspected case of COVID-19 infection in the past 14 days.
– For your convenience, you may collect the form from our website: www.rda.org.hk or by emailing us via: info@rda.org.hk and complete it prior to your upcoming visits. Alternatively, you may also complete the form which will be available at the entry gate of the our facilities. Please note that this Form has to be completed on each visit.;
– It is of utmost importance that all take the declaration seriously and provide true and correct information. The schools/organziations of our term ride program shall be responsible for notifying all the parents and riders of such requirement and ensuring the information provided in the declaration form is true and correct. Anyone who knowingly makes a false declaration will be considered to be in serious breach of this COVID-19 vigilance measures.
– All may be assured that all the information collected is for the purpose of mitigating the spread of the virus and protecting the health and safety of all staff, instructors, volunteers, students and the accompanying person(s). The information will be used for RDA’s internal record only.
• All staff, instructors, volunteers, students and the accompanying person(s) are required to wear face masks and perform hand hygiene with hand sanitizer;

The Association reserves the right to refuse any person(s) in violation of this COVID-19 vigilance measures from entering any facilities. The Association reserves the right to report the case to the relevant authority where appropriate.
We will continue to closely follow the development of the COVID-19 and take further appropriate actions as, and when necessary for the safety of our staff, instructors, volunteers, students and accompanying person(s).
